Extension springs

Extension springs

As well as the compression spring, everyone is familiar with the extension spring. A good example is the spring on a trampoline. As the name suggests, the extension spring is loaded in tension. The spring extends when a force is applied and returns to its original position when the force is removed. If an extension spring is to be used, it needs to have “eyes”. These are the ends with which the spring can be affixed. There are different options for eyes. Contact Alcomex for further information. We can produce extension springs in all dimensions and designs especially for you. Thanks to the short set-up time of our machines, we can offer even short runs at an attractive and affordable price.

We always advise you to consult our stock catalogue as we may already have the spring you are looking for in stock. All stock springs are available from our webshop.
