By translating the questions and challenges in the area of door springs into practical solutions, Alcomex grew into a firm that has huge knowledge about, in fact, all possible types of spring products, as well as related matters. Also, Alcomex has a complete extension, compression, torsion and leaf springs programme. In addition to all these, usually normalised springs, of course it is also possible to develop springs for customer specific applications. Our factories are fully equipped with the most modern spring production techniques to convert the accompanying designs into customisation. Calculations are carried out in conformity with the DIN EN 13906 or internal calculation programs.
The customisation, the internally developed calculation programs and the especially internally developed material specifications, all supported by continuous testing, make Alcomex a unique partner that considers solution-oriented and practical thinking, with a passion for technology, a priority.
Over the last few years, together with our strategic partners, we have assessed which specific technical requirements our spring programme should comply with. For standard or norm springs, such as extension, compression, torsion, die and disc springs, things are rather organised, but for customisation in, for example, an aggressive environment with higher temperatures, it becomes more difficult, because in that case also the material composition and corrosion resistance are quite influential. Therefore Alcomex has a variety of possibilities regarding standard galvanising, anodising phosphatising, etc. Additionally, Alcomex has also developed special processes to be able to meet the highest requirements.
Alcomex has different production locations across Europe and beyond:
Alcomex Czech Republic (Brno): the hypermodern factory in Brno, Czech Republic, is entirely specialised in the production of all possible industrial springs. At this location a machine park has been installed over the years to be able to meet the growing demand for high-quality springs. In 2018, Alcomex started the construction of a new production hall, making our capacity twice as large.
HZ Solutions – part of the Alcomex Group – Nederland (Hilvarenbeek): this ultra-modern factory in Hilvarenbeek, the Netherlands, is entirely specialised in the production of all possible industrial springs. It is particularly specialised in the fully automated production of mounting solutions of strip steel. At this location a machine park has been installed over the years, to be able to meet the growing demand for high-quality springs.
Alcomex Netherlands (Opmeer): specialised in torsion springs for residential and industrial doors. Opmeer also has a warehouse where the most common doors are available in stock. This allows us to deliver “Just in time”. Deviating measures are manufactured customer-specifically, if desired.
Alcomex Poland (Zielonka): Specialised in the production of door springs and extension spring systems. In addition, many spring systems are assembled on the basis of internally developed semi-automatic processes.
Alcomex India (Pune): entirely focused on the mass production of all standard door spring systems. This modern factory produces for all ALCOMEX-branches and customers and every week full containers are shipped to customers or to the central warehouses in Opmeer and Zielonka.
